Handcrafted by Rodney Stedall
This guitar with the most beautiful Brazilian rosewood was originally commissioned by a client with small stature as well as a wrist injury. The short scale request of 614mm suited the design of a Torres Parlor guitar from the year 1864. This guitar would suit an aspiring young guitarist or a serious classical player wanting to add romance to the music of that era.
Many years ago I started restoring old stringed instruments and shortly afterwards completed my first steel-string flat-top guitar by following the instructions in a book. This instrument sparked the beginning of my lutherie career and I still play it daily.
