My ukuleles are based on Spanish construction methods and have a loud and sonorous "voice". Ukuleles are available in soprano, tenor and baritone.
Ukuleles are built with a choice of either European spruce, western red cedar or Australian blackwood soundboard. Wood for the back and sides can be chosen but Australian blackwood is preferred for its close family link to the popular Hawaiian koa. Wood for the neck and fingerboard is chosen in discussion with the customer.
My signature rosettes are individually made and have a beautiful leopard skin pattern. Other rosette patterns can be discussed.
I use hot animal glue for the most strategic joints on the soundboard (braces and bridge) and aliphatic resin for the others.
Friction tuners are standard but geared tuners are offered as an option.
All instruments are French polished.
